About Us
Family is one of the greatest blessings given to us by God. We are a family who loves Jesus and who is dedicated to sharing with others the gifts God has placed in our lives. In 2011, we purchased this West Virginia property with the intent of creating a family compound as a quiet vacation getaway, while providing a perfect place for memories to be made in the years to come. As we collaborated ideas, we realized this property could be so much more. So, we began plans that would allow Four Fillies to become a destination for other families to share in that same gift.
Our homeschool background and experience allowed our family to take long RV trips throughout all of the United States and most of Canada. These long treks across the country have become the inspiration for much of what is Four Fillies Lodge.
About Our Fishing Experience
In 2021, we purchased our sister company that resides just six miles down the road, the Trout Lodge at Rock Springs. Initially we fell in love with the natural pure water source that provides 4000 gallons per minute and continues from the Trout Lodge at Rock Springs property all the way through our Four Fillies Lodge property. As we continued making plans for this property, we realized what kind of opportunity the trout farm aspect of it could provide for both Rock Springs and our cabin rentals at Four Fillies Lodge. We now raise trout at the Trout Lodge at Rock Springs and stock the creek at Four Fillies Lodge for our guests to enjoy an ultimate fishing experience while they stay with us. We have continued plans to grow the Trout Lodge at Rock Springs and make it a destination where locals and our guests can come enjoy fishing, games, food, and more. We cannot wait to share this unique property with our guests!
