Guest Arrival and Departure

Check-in: arrive any time after 4 pm. Special arrangements may be made for early check-in if it is available for an additional fee.

Check-out: Check out is 11 am sharp! Unless you have added late check out at 12:30 pm for $35 plus tax, and it has been approved. At that point, check out is by 12:30 pm sharp and no later. An additional fee of $35 plus tax will automatically be added if you are any later than that. If you have not added late check out and paid for it, or reached out to us and we have approved, you will need to be out by 11 am.

We have a self check-in process with no front desk. No formal check-in/check-out is required. Each cabin has a lockbox. Please call or text us at (304) 913-2727 prior to your arrival to receive your lock-box code. You may also reach us by email at info@fourfillieslodge.com. For a back-up number, you may reach our property caretaker at (304) 920-7099.

Cancellations/Date Changes

Cancellations must be 15 or more days before your check-in date for a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. If a cancellation is made between 7-15 days prior to check in, your deposit will be forfeited. If a cancellation is made 7 or fewer days before check in, the entire stay is non-refundable.

We charge a 50% deposit at the time the reservation is made. The remaining balance is automatically charged 7 days before check-in.

Date changes/modification:

Rescheduling or shortening your stay must be done 15 or more days before your reservation.

Smoking

No smoking in cabins or on porches of cabins

Group Rentals

For the enjoyment of other guests at Four Fillies Lodge, we do not allow parties at the property. For group rentals (3 or more cabins rented by the same person), please follow all listed procedures and we ask that you make sure the common areas that you use are cleaned up. Please ensure that everyone staying on site follows the check-out instructions listed in our Welcome Books.

Guests

We only allow guests who are staying in the cabins to be on site at Four Fillies Lodge. No off site visitors allowed.

Age Requirement 

The guest booking must be over 21 years old to rent a cabin at Four Fillies Lodge.

Damage

If something is damaged during your stay, we will reach out to you and charge the credit card on file for the damage.

Noise

Please keep music down outside after 10 pm. Please be respectful of other guests/neighbors.

Accessibility Policy

Four Fillies Lodge warmly welcomes all guests. However, due to the topography of the land and the historic structures of the antique cabins, our property and cabins do not offer ADA accessibility.

• Our New River Gorge is ADA compliant
• Our Creekside Home includes accessibility for those with limited mobility. Our Creekside Home has a grab bar in the bath tub in the master bedroom downstairs. The Creekside Home has three steps up to the front door into the cabin, which is fewer than most of our other cabins. The master bedroom door of the Creekside Home is 29″ wide, and the master bathroom door is 30″ wide. The master bed from floor to mattress is 31″ high, and the toilet in the master is 14″ wide and 17.5″ tall from floor to top of toilet seat.
• Our Cowboy Cabin, Boathouse, Wilderness Lodge, and Fishing Creek Cabin are antique structures with stairways that lead to the front door, therefore, are not accessible for wheelchairs or easily accessible for those with limited mobility.
• The Mill House is ground level; however, the bathroom is narrow and small and not wheelchair accessible. The Mill House has a grab bar in the shower, however, the shower and bathroom are not large enough for a wheelchair.
• The Baitshop has three wide steps leading to the front door; however, the showers do not have grab bars. It is a full over full bunk bed in the Baitshop, which may make it difficult for those with limited mobility to get onto the bed.

In addition, we work to ensure every guest who wishes to visit can do so regardless of their physical abilities. Among the ways we comply with ADA:

1. We ensure that individuals with disabilities can make reservations during the same hours and in the same manner as individuals without disabilities.
2. We have identified and described the features in our lodge and cabins in detail to allow individuals with disabilities to determine whether our lodge meets their needs.
3. Guests with legitimate service animals as defined in the ADA will be provided access to all areas of the estate afforded to those without service animals.

Due to the historic significance of our property and the topography of our land, our cabins and land are not completely wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, it is not readily achievable to remove physical barriers for accessibility because doing so could threaten the historic significance of the property. These barriers include:

• Stairs leading to cabin entrances
• Ladders leading to lofts in four cabins and stairs leading to upstairs in two of our cabins
• Narrow doorways that are not wheelchair accessible
• A large gravel road that runs through our property that would make it difficult for a wheel chair to mobilize
• Steep graded roads

Website Accessibility

We are committed to facilitating the accessibility and usability of this website for all people with disabilities. We will continue to implement the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA) or such other standards as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). On a periodic basis, our website will be tested with assistive technology.
