Policies

Guest Arrival and Departure

Check-in: arrive any time after 3 pm. Special arrangements may be made for early check-in if it is available.

Check-out: 11 am or later by special arrangement if it is available.

We have a self check-in process. No formal check-in/check-out is required. Each cabin has a lockbox. Please call or text us at (954) 702-1647 prior to your arrival to receive your lock-box code. You may also reach us by email at info@fourfillieslodge.com. For a back-up number, you may reach our property caretaker at (304) 920-7099.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made 7 days before your check-in date. In the event of a cancellation, we will refund all money paid less a $25 cancellation fee. If cancellation is made within 7 days of check-in, all monies paid are non-refundable.

No smoking in cabins or on porches of cabins

Accessibility ADA

Four Fillies Lodge warmly welcomes all guests. However, due to the typography of the land and the historic structures of the antique cabins, our property and cabins do not offer ADA accessibility. Our Creekside Home includes accessibility for those with limited mobility.

If you have questions regarding our accommodations and if they will fit your needs, please call us directly at (954) 702-1647 so we can ensure you have a comfortable arrival and enjoyable stay.

In addition, we work to ensure every guest who wishes to visit can do so regardless of their physical abilities. Among the ways we comply with ADA:

  1. We ensure that individuals with disabilities can make reservations during the same hours and in the same manner as individuals without disabilities.
  2. We have identified and described the features in our lodge and cabins in detail to allow individuals with disabilities to determine whether our lodge meets their needs.
  3. We ensure that accessible guest rooms are held for use by individuals with disabilities until all other guest rooms of that type have been rented.
  4. We guarantee that the specific cabins, once reserved, are held for the reserving customer. We make reasonable efforts with third-party reservation systems to make all cabins available through at least some of these services and they must provide these third-party services with information concerning the features of the property.
  5. Guests with legitimate service animals as defined in the ADA will be provided access to all areas of the estate afforded to those without service animals.

We are committed to facilitating the accessibility and usability of this website for all people with disabilities. We will continue to implement the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA) or such other standards as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). FAQ

Standard check-in is at 3 pm and standard check-out is at 11 am. For an additional $20, you may check-in at 1:30 pm, and for an additional $20, you may extend your check-out until 12:30 pm. A limited quantity is available. Email us to confirm availability for early check-in and late check-out for your stay.

Daily housekeeping is not included at Four Fillies Lodge. Cabins are cleaned between stays.

We do not offer breakfast at Four Fillies Lodge. We recommend HomeTown restaurant in Peterstown, WV. There is also Grant’s Supermarket in Rick Creek, VA. 778 Federal St, Rich Creek, VA 24147

Our two dog-friendly cabins are the Cowboy Cabin and Creekside Home. Due to allergies, we allow dogs only and a maximum of two dogs. It is an additional $35 per pet per stay.

The closest grocery store is Grant’s Supermarket in Rick Creek, VA. 778 Federal St, Rich Creek, VA 24147. There is also a Walmart Supercenter in Princeton, WV about 20 minutes away.

  • All towels and linens are provided. All rentals provide basic kitchen items such as plates, glasses, silverware, basic cookware, coffee maker (with coffee), and toaster. Rentals with stoves include pots and pans.
  • Firewood for firepits and fireplaces (for cabins that include fireplaces) are located on the decks of each cabin.
  • Hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, and bathroom tissue are included in each cabin.
  • Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are not provided so be sure to bring those.

No smoking allowed in cabins or on porches of cabins. Smoking is allowed outside of cabins only. Please be considerate as these our antique cabins with dry wood.

Before you use the fireplace, make sure to open the flue and make sure the fire screen is in place. Firewood is located on the decks of the cabins and lighters are located in the kitchen. Before leaving the cabin, make sure the fire is put out.
