Fright Nights Haunted Attraction
ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! If you’re looking for a truly terrifying fall night, drive over to the Resort at Glades Springs in Daniels, WV for Fright Nights, WV. Go visit southern West Virginia’s largest and scariest haunts, featuring 5 haunted experiences. They show 12 nights of terror throughout the month of October. Haunting on Hans Creek
If you are looking for a good scare, look no further than Haunting on Hans Creek in Greenville, WV. Every Saturday in October, food concessions, picture opportunities, gift shop, and frights are available to you. Over 40 minutes of terror awaits you during the haunted hayride/trail.
Oak Hill Annual Halloween Festival
At Oak Hill’s Annual Halloween Festival, the last 2 Saturdays of October are filled with lots of exciting events. The excitement starts at 8am Saturday, October 22 with the Spooktacular Scavenger Hunt. Get your costumes on because at 1-5pm, your team must be in costume to participate in the Coffin Race. Three members of your team need to be ready to run! They will push the remaining team member in the coffin as fast as they can to win the timed race. On Thursday, October 27th, get your creative juices going. The Pumpkin Carving Contest drop-off will be open 5-7pm at the pumpkin house on Main Street. The winner will be announced on October 28th. Trick or Treat on Main Street at 7-10pm on Saturday, October 29. Decorated, themed candy booths will be set up all along Main Street.
Monster Bash
Wear your best costume for a chance to win $500! Ace Adventure Resort is the host to the nightmarish Monster Bash at the Lost Baddle Bar and Grill at 7pm on October 29th. This adult Halloween Party will be complete with a DJ, dancing, costumes, cocktails, and more spooky Halloween activities. Admission is $15 for the Halloween party to remember.
Sunset View Farms
Fall isn’t just about frights and candy. The 2022 fall theme is BELIEVE. Stop by the fall festival at Sunset View Farms in Ballard, WV for some family friendly activities. Inside the corn maze are KIDS OF THE BIBLE trivia questions. They feature lots of family fun activities, including an awesome corn maze, pumpkin patch, cow milking hayride, and more! $10 admission for everyone 3+ .
The Hanna Farmstead
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from September 16th to October 30th, the beautiful Hanna Farmstead in Lewisburg, WV is the home to lots of family fun. Pick out your favorite pumpkin at the pumpkin patch. Get lost in the corn maze. Take a ride in a wagon. Enjoy the gorgeous sunflower field. And taste the delicious pumpkin donuts, specialty coffee, and more! Every Friday night, Hanna Farmstead hosts outdoor movie nights, nighttime mazes, and moonlit wagon rides.
